Cats & Kate
Wednesday - Gage was talking to Bishop Wallace.
Here are the Bishop's kittens up for trade
Here is my cute Kate - I don't think Gage really wants to make the trade.

Since this post is about cats, here is another cat story. We were cleaning out the shelves in our garage when lance saw a hairy tan thing in the back corner. We didn't know what it could be because there was no way a cat could make it past our 2 dogs, but sure enough it was a cat. We don't know how long it had been back there, but it was looking a little frail. After poking it, it found a way down and under the Neon car. Then Logan the dog scared the cat up into the car engine. Now the trick was how to get it out of the car. It didn't mind being soaked with the hose or poked with a broom, or the horn honking. So we rolled the car outside and by morning the cat was gone. (If this was your cat, sorry).
B: Gage do you want to trade your baby sister for some kittens?
G: No thanks, I will keep my sister.
Sunday - Kate is crying
Mom: Gage, what should we do with your sister?
Gage: Let's trade her for the kittens.

Kate 6 Weeks
Hi Friends - I am now 6 weeks old - aren't I cute? I enjoy watching Gage and Ava play and the ceiling fan go in circles. My brother Gage takes good care of me and makes me happy, he also likes to sing me songs. My sister Ava pokes me and will hold me for 2 seconds. Most nights I like to sleep 7 hrs, mom is happy about that. Here is a video of me (press play under the picture Grandma). Look out Simon, Randy and Paula - my mom has a great singing voice.

One proud daddy!
Kate was extremely upset she didn't get to ski. Maybe next time.
So she setteled for sucking on her fist instead
They'll be on slalom skis in no time ripping through the course!

Meet Kate
Our little sweetie arrived June 18th. She was 6 lbs 5 oz and 19". She wasn't growing anymore and my placenta was starting to "poop out" as the Dr said, so no more waiting. She is perfect and petite with a good amount of dark hair on her little head. Ava loves having a real dolly to play with, but she is a little rough, she likes to go for the eyes. Gage is having a hard time adjusting with another sibling in the house. He has been a little stinker this past week. Mom is doing good, just trying to keep up. I love getting the little baby smiles while she sleeps and how
she just snuggles up perfectly on my chest. Just makes you want to hold her all day.

Guessing Game
What do you think?
It would be fun to hear from everyone as to what you think will happen hopefully sometime soon. But after Saturday - Lance comes home from scout camp then.
I am due June 17.
Girl/Boy
WHEN WILL THE BABY COME?
Day
Size of baby
Gage was 5 days late 7lbs and Ava was 5 days early and 8lbs. So who knows?
I washed a window and some blinds today, I am trying to decide if that is nesting or bored.

Fishing
Hogle Zoo
Kira and Jackson (cousins) came up to SLC from SG so we decided to join them at the zoo. The kids all love playing together. Ava enjoyed the animals more than Gage did - Gage would rather climb rocks, run and play on the playground.
