Potty Anyone?

Ava has been learing about the potty for awile now - we teach Betsy how to go potty, reading books, and learning lots from Gage.

We put undies on her one night and she gave us this cute little potty dance:



Then the miracle happened....1st pee in the potty!!! (March 11, 2009) It has got to be in Mom's top 10 list of proud moments. Hopefully before too long it can be a habit.

Destination: MOAB

We needed some fun & sun, so Moab it was. Moab is only a short 3hr drive and the weather was so warm and sunny. We wanted to camp, but wasn't feeling up to a tent, so we rented a small cabin to stay in. We went hiking at Arches 3days. Gage was a trooper. He also earned his Jr. Ranger badge and got to be good friends with Ranger Matt. Ava had the easy spot being packed around on Lance back. I didn't have any problems hiking around being 27 weeks prego...just slower. We hiked to Delicate Arch, Window Arches and hiked the Fiery Furnace. The Fiery Furnace was a fun hike with squeezing through narrow rock walls (some spots the baby pack was scraping the walls), walking along rock ledges, crawling like spiderman, and stairs carved in rock, and finding "hidden" arches. Swam in the pool, played on the playground, walked Moab Main Street, ate all-you-can-eat pizza at Zak's (yummy).

I got PhotoShop Elements last week and have spent this week learning how to use the program. So now I am an official digital scrapbooker - I have never been a scrapbooker before, but I think I can do this. If you have any tricks or tips, please pass them along. I love how much better a photo looks with a few touch-ups. Here is my first scrapbook page:

Join the Club!

With so many of my friends expecting, I thought, "Why not join them?" No really, we are on the two year plan, two years apart, birthdays in June. So it was time. I was pretty overwhelmed at first thinking of having 3 kids, but now I am getting more used to the idea, but I am sure that will all change real fast when all 3 are crying. I have been told that having 3 is the hardest, so I will see if I can prove that theory wrong.
