Spring Time
I started working for the Census again this week. You might find me on your door step. I enjoy doing indexing and reading through all the old census records, trying to read their fancy cursive handwriting. Now we get to use standardized forms and CAPS.
Gage and Ava are happy the mud has almost dried up here. Ava runs outside after breakfast to get in a morning jump on the trampoline. Today she said, "Mom the tramp is sparkly" I said, "Yes, that is frost, everything is still frozen from the cold night air"
Kate is crawling and clicking her tounge - it is the cutest sound -
Lance can't wait to get behind the boat again - we all have spring fever. I couldn't take it anymore so last week when we had a warm day and lots of mud here, I packed up bags and left later that day to St. George. We spent a day hiking in the sun at Zions - just what I needed. But spent the next day stuck inside because it was raining - oh well. I have bad luck getting a good weather weekend at St. George - what are the odds?

Kate 6 Months

Kate is such a sweetie! She is still petite and dainty. She loves playing with Gage and Ava. She is very happy and easy going. We love her so much! She is trying to crawl and get around but hasn't quite figured out how to get her legs going under her. She loves listening to mom's piano students and hitting on the keys. xoxo xoxo xoxoThe Alien & The Ninja

Gage's New Love
Meet Travis Pastrana..... That is what Gage named his Yamaha PW50.
We live in the perfect location for riding! He can hop on in the driveway and off he goes. I am so happy to be living in the "country"
The first time Gage rode the bike he didn't know how to stop and took off across the yard (good thing we have a big yard with lots of room) and Lance went chasing after him. It was pretty funny.
The next mornig he ate his breakfast as fast as he could to go out riding again.
His good bud Kaycee has a dirt bike track in his back yard, which is right next to our house. He loves to go over there and ride with the boys. He also likes to hit the jumps behind Cruise's house, also right next to our place.
If he has an audience he will ride by doing a trick like legs eagled out or the rock-on sign with his hands. He also loves riding wide-open down straight-aways.
I have a little dare devil on my hands.
The bike even has enough power to put-put mom around the yard. It is my new favorite way to go get the mail. I will throw Ava on with me and go cruise'n.

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Halloween! These were too cute not to share. We had a fun Halloween week with school parties and spooky songs. We took the kids trick-or-treating to a few friend's houses. We have to drive from house to house. People in Roosevelt don't leave candy on their porch when they are not home, they just leave the house dark. I think you should always leave candy out as an offering for all the little goblins.
Gage was a cowboy, Ava was an Indian princess and Kate was a pumpkin.

Lovely Kiddos
I love my babies soooo much!
They keep me busy - that is why I haven't posted in two months - but I have so many fun photos and stories I want to share, maybe another day, it is 1:50 am, I need my beauty sleep.
I did finish a Blurb photo book tonight, yipee!
