The Alien & The Ninja

My kids LOVE to dress up. Thanks for the new costumes Greg! We are now learning Ninja moves so look out!

See our Christmas Tree...... Lance put the lights on - good job Lance. We found this prize tree up in the mountains here by our house. We took good care of our tree and it started getting new pine needles. Now it is standing in the snow outside our house. We love our tree!

Visiting Teaching

Need some motivation to get you going Visiting Teaching? Sometimes I do. At the first of each month Pioneer Party in Lehi, UT has a little gift and handout to go along with the monthly message.

Sometimes I buy what they have and get it mailed to me or I use their idea to get my mind thinking of something fun and creative I can do.

I love going visiting teaching and getting to know my sisters.

Gage's New Love

Meet Travis Pastrana..... That is what Gage named his Yamaha PW50.

We live in the perfect location for riding! He can hop on in the driveway and off he goes. I am so happy to be living in the "country"

The first time Gage rode the bike he didn't know how to stop and took off across the yard (good thing we have a big yard with lots of room) and Lance went chasing after him. It was pretty funny.

The next mornig he ate his breakfast as fast as he could to go out riding again.

His good bud Kaycee has a dirt bike track in his back yard, which is right next to our house. He loves to go over there and ride with the boys. He also likes to hit the jumps behind Cruise's house, also right next to our place.

If he has an audience he will ride by doing a trick like legs eagled out or the rock-on sign with his hands. He also loves riding wide-open down straight-aways.

I have a little dare devil on my hands.

The bike even has enough power to put-put mom around the yard. It is my new favorite way to go get the mail. I will throw Ava on with me and go cruise'n.

Happy Thanksgiving

We went to PG to eat turkey with the Brailsford's. It was delicious! All the family was there except Cody who is in KY on a mission. My uncle Brent and aunt Carol also came to visit. Laura and I also left for Walmart at 4:30 am to join in the madness, which is now turning into a fun tradition for me.

Happy Halloween! These were too cute not to share. We had a fun Halloween week with school parties and spooky songs. We took the kids trick-or-treating to a few friend's houses. We have to drive from house to house. People in Roosevelt don't leave candy on their porch when they are not home, they just leave the house dark. I think you should always leave candy out as an offering for all the little goblins.

Gage was a cowboy, Ava was an Indian princess and Kate was a pumpkin.

Beware of Momma!

I was debating between the sexy nurse costume or the scary face patient for Halloween.
After 5 years of being stuffy all the time and always being asked if I was sick, I decided it was time for nasal surgery. Think of breathing through a coffee straw then switching to a McDonald's straw, it is amazing! I smell new things now and gag at poopy diapers. I had my "hot dogs" smashed and cut (that is how the Dr. explained it) The wall in my nose straighted out and extra tissue cut out (paullups). I still have stitches in my nose a month later, but feel and breath great.
I am thankful for my health and a healthy family.

Lovely Kiddos

Gage, Kate, Ava

Are these not the cutest little faces?

I love my babies soooo much!

They keep me busy - that is why I haven't posted in two months - but I have so many fun photos and stories I want to share, maybe another day, it is 1:50 am, I need my beauty sleep.

I did finish a Blurb photo book tonight, yipee!

August Memories

Here are a few memories to share from August.

My family came for a visit, we headed up the canyon on a hike, and some good-ol tree tipp'n. Kristi, Ava, Alena, Laura, Greg, Gage, (Mom and Kate taking the picture)
Lagoon! Here is Gage and cousin Tayiah. It was so busy with long lines everywhere! We had a fun time.

Logan and Max got hair cuts and a boat trip. Ava skiing in the back.

Kate is 2 months now and such a cutie. She has the biggest blue eyes.

Our garden is growing and growing. We always have a zuchinni to pick. Ava says zuchinni and it sounds so cute.

Cats & Kate

Wednesday - Gage was talking to Bishop Wallace.
B: Gage do you want to trade your baby sister for some kittens?
G: No thanks, I will keep my sister.

Sunday - Kate is crying
Mom: Gage, what should we do with your sister?
Gage: Let's trade her for the kittens.

Here are the Bishop's kittens up for trade
Here is my cute Kate - I don't think Gage really wants to make the trade.

Since this post is about cats, here is another cat story. We were cleaning out the shelves in our garage when lance saw a hairy tan thing in the back corner. We didn't know what it could be because there was no way a cat could make it past our 2 dogs, but sure enough it was a cat. We don't know how long it had been back there, but it was looking a little frail. After poking it, it found a way down and under the Neon car. Then Logan the dog scared the cat up into the car engine. Now the trick was how to get it out of the car. It didn't mind being soaked with the hose or poked with a broom, or the horn honking. So we rolled the car outside and by morning the cat was gone. (If this was your cat, sorry).

Kate 6 Weeks

Hi Friends - I am now 6 weeks old - aren't I cute? I enjoy watching Gage and Ava play and the ceiling fan go in circles. My brother Gage takes good care of me and makes me happy, he also likes to sing me songs. My sister Ava pokes me and will hold me for 2 seconds. Most nights I like to sleep 7 hrs, mom is happy about that. Here is a video of me (press play under the picture Grandma). Look out Simon, Randy and Paula - my mom has a great singing voice.
